Birmingham, Ala.-  William Carey University men's and women's track & field got their inaugural season underway on Saturday as they competed in the 2013 Southern Invitational hosted by Birmingham Southern College.

OKLAHOMA CITY Oklahoma City University's Raechel Brown was named a 2013 NAIA women's cross country Scholar-Athlete Friday. Brown, a junior from Edmond, Okla., boasts a grade point average of 3.82 while majoring in kinesiology.
