Birmingham, Ala.-  William Carey University men's and women's track & field got their inaugural season underway on Saturday as they competed in the 2013 Southern Invitational hosted by Birmingham Southern College.

SHAWNEE, Okla. Oklahoma City University tied with Texas Wesleyan for second place in the Sooner Athletic Conference Championships Saturday at Gordon Cooper Technology Center. The Stars, ranked No. 20 in NAIA women's cross country, amassed 58 points to tie for second with 15th-ranked Texas Wesleyan and finish 22 points behind 10th-ranked Oklahoma Baptist. Madeline Boehlke, Raechel Brown, Sarah Moore and Katrina Nolan all earned all-SAC honors by placing in the top-15.
