Birmingham, Ala.-  William Carey University men's and women's track & field got their inaugural season underway on Saturday as they competed in the 2013 Southern Invitational hosted by Birmingham Southern College.

SHAWNEE, Okla. Oklahoma City University is set to challenge for a Sooner Athletic Conference cross country championship in the SAC Championships at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at Gordon Cooper Technology Center. The Stars, ranked No. 20 in NAIA women's cross country, finished first and second in their last two races while former NAIA all-American Katrina Nolan has posted five top-5 finishes this season.
