OKLAHOMA CITY Michaela Werner of Oklahoma City University took Sooner Athletic Conference women's cross country runner of the week.Werner, a freshman from Grove, Okla., finished first place in a field of 70 runners to win the Central Oklahoma Land Run. Her time of 19 minutes, 38 seconds in the five kilometers was 15 seconds faster than her nearest competitor in her college debut.
