JOPLIN, Mo. Oklahoma City University's Stephen Broadhurst and Peter Koskey each qualified to compete in the NAIA Outdoor Championships Friday at the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invite at Fred Hughes Stadium.Koskey, a sophomore from Keringet, Kenya, and Broadhurst, a sophomore from Warrington, England, finished first and second in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase and each posted A-Standard qualifying times in the process. Koskey finished in nine minutes and 15 seconds while Broadhust followed in 9:18. The NAIA Outdoor Championships will take place May 22-24 at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Ala.
