SHAWNEE, Okla. Oklahoma City University finished first overall at the Sooner Athletic Conference Championships and secured the program's first SAC cross country title Saturday at Gordon Cooper Technology Center. The Stars, ranked No. 5 in NAIA men's cross country, finished 15 points ahead of 11th-ranked Oklahoma Baptist in the eight-kilometer race and earned an automatic bid to the NAIA Championships. Arya Bahreini, Stephen Broadhurst, Peter Koskey, Chris Lowery, Mackenzie Wahpepah-Harris and Kyle Wardwell all finished in the top-15 and earned all-SAC honors while OCU coach Conor Holt was voted SAC coach of the year.
